Saudia all set for departure operations

The Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) has prepared a complete package of services for the departing pilgrims starting with reservation until the issuance of the boarding pass, its Director General Saleh Bin Nasser Al-Jasser said. “Serving pilgrims comes at the top of our priorities. We are proud to be one of the government departments involved in the Haj services,” he said after inspecting the departure lounges and other facilities at King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) in Jeddah. Jasser said Saudia offices in Makkah and Jeddah remain open for about 16 hours a day to provide services to the departing pilgrims. “The airlines offices in KAIA and Prince Muhammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah work round-the-clock to make sure that all pilgrims have boarded and all flights are according to schedules,” he said. Al-Jasser said Saudia has deployed 6,205 of its ground staff to serve pilgrims during their home flights consisting of 4,2179 at KAIA and 2,026 in Madinah airport. Al-Jasser also toured the operations room and other utilities in the airport. He also met with a number of pilgrims congratulating them on the completion of their pilgrimage.
