Saudi Arabia sent 57 military personnel to Pakistan in order to begin 12-days of counter-terrorism exercises alongside Pakistan armed forces near Kharian city.
The course of training exercises marks the first time both countries have performed joint counter-terrorism exercises, however, spokesperson for the Pakistan military General Asim Bajwa said joint exercises have been part of normal operations.
