It is expected that Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz will meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Ahmed Davutoglu at the presidential palace in Ankara next week, according to the Turkish newspaper, the Zaman.  King Salman will be participating in the G20 Summit to be held in the Turkish city of Antalya between 15-16 November 2015.

The Zaman reported that King Salman’s visit to Turkey will not be limited to participate in the summit, but is scheduled to take about ten days experiencing a number of bilateral talks and discuss regional issues.  King Salman aims to discuss the latest developments in Syria, Egypt, Palestine and Libya, as well as study and evaluate the possibilities of enhancing trade and economic cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Turkey .

This visit will be the first made by King Salman to Turkey since he took office in January.
