King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud had a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin about Saudi Arabia’s important role in the Middle East.
The main issues of conversation were the Syrian war and the escalating violence in Palestine and Israel. King Salman gave a “high assessment of Russia’s traditionally active role in moving the peace proceess forward” said the Kremlin.
