I would like to congratulate the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the government and people of Saudi Arabia, on the 85th anniversary of the National Day of the Kingdom. Saudi Arabia has been one of our closest and most-valued partners in the region and the world ever since the diplomatic relationship between our two countries was established in 1990. We share common interests in maintaining regional peace, security and prosperity, and coordinate effectively in international arena. It is particularly remarkable that Saudi Arabia is the largest trading partner of China in the region, and largest oil supplier of China in the world. Under the wise leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, Saudi Arabia enjoys stability and prosperity amid regional turmoil, and is playing a greater role in regional and world affairs. I look forward to our two countries’ continuing to work together to bring our strategic relationship to higher levels. Mabrouk!
