
Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Naif, deputy premier, minister of interior and chairman of the Supreme Haj Committee, on Thursday inspected the preparedness of the annual security forces taking part in this year’s Haj at the Camp of the Special Emergency Forces on Makkah–Taif Expressway.
He also watched models of highly advanced military hardware, equipment and devices being used by the forces. The Crown Prince and other guests were impressed by the extraordinary acrobatic skills demonstrated by the security personnel like climbing down from towers and aircraft by using rope. Several ground demonstrations were also performed on the occasion.
The function was also attended by Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, emir of Makkah, advisor to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and chairman of the Central Haj Committee; Prince Miteb Bin Abdullah, minister of the National Guard; Prince Faisal Bin Salman, emir of Madinah; Khaled Bin Faisal Bin Turki, undersecretary at the National Guard in the Western Region; and Lt. Gen. Othman Al-Mohrej, director of Public Security and chairman of the security committee for Haj.
