King Salman’s Haj guests visit Prophet’s museum

The Haj guests of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman recently visited the “Peace Be Upon The Prophet” museum in Makkah.
Nasser bin Musfer Al-Zahrani, the owner of the museum, welcomed the pilgrims. They were given a tour of the 26 sections, which included furniture, utensils, weapons, clothing, jewelry, scales and coins mentioned in the Qur’an and Hadith.
There were also sections on various industrial and farming tools, different types of medicine, food and drinking items and professions that existed at the Prophet’s time. The pilgrims praised Saudi scholars and researchers for putting together the exhibition.
Al-Zahrani, a Saudi businessman, set up the museum based on his own research. He has also written a book on the life of the Prophet, peace be upon him.
Muhammad Al-Khudairi, chairman of the king’s Haj guest committee, said this was the second time that pilgrims were able to see the exhibition. The last tour took place during the Haj last year.
He said the pilgrims were also taken to see the factory that produces the kiswa for the Kaaba, the Museum of the Two Holy Mosques, and other important landmarks.
