The 26th Doha International Book Fair opens today at Qatar National Convention Centre.
Organized by the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage and Dar Al Kutub, the venue provides a platform for publishers to showcase books to the Qatari community. Qatar National Library (QNL) will attend the book fair that will run until December 12.
The QNL booth will highlight sections of the library, including resources available through online databases, training programmes and social engagement activities. Interactive presentations will showcase items in Heritage Collection such as rare manuscripts, archival documents and historical photographs, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.
