Coexistence is a Divine Law

By Abdul-Aziz Al-Mosa

Islam came with things that build life on Earth, and then prevented what spoiled it. Therefore, Allah put laws in order to care with the interest of People.
Our prophet (PBUH) set us the law of coexistence in the civil era before his immigration to Medina in order to protect the lives of people, and to make them live in safety and security.
Upon his arrival to Medina, Our Prophet (PBUH) commenced to establish the country, set laws and constructed Quba Mosque as well as the Prophetic Mosque. Also, he set the law of coexistence in order to organize the life of human beings. The Prophetic Biography has a lot of instances about such law.
During the migration of our prophet to media, he seeks the help of Abdullah Bin Ariaqet, who was not Muslim. Also, when he arrived to Medina, he lived in peace with Jews, and dealt with them in commercial dealings. Furthermore, our prophet played the role of being a judge in many disputes among Jews and Muslims, and many times the judgments were in favor of Jews.
Our prophet wanted to set the law of coexistence in order to implement the order of Allah. Furthermore, Islamic law states that marriage between Muslims and Jews is permissible.
Coexistence does not mean the abandonment of Islamic law, and does not contradict with loyalty. Coexistence is a prophetic tradition based on Worldly interests.
What happens today from instigation and attempts to create conflict between community components, as well as fabrication of detonators in Saudi Arabia are dirty attempts to create internal dissension to create internal dissension. People in Saudi Arabia coexisted; Muslims and non-Muslims, Sunnah and Shia and Sunnah with all other sects; we did not see anyone assault the other. We see that when Khawarej tried to combat Ali Bin Abi Taleb, he did not start with combat until they attacked Muslims.
Jews and Christians remained in the Arabian Peninsula working in agriculture and industries until the era of Islam, as Omar Ibn Al-Khatab forced them out. However, their rights were maintained, and he ordered not to kill or assault anyone of them. Muslims were dealing with them fairly and coexisted alongside them.
The unfamiliarity with the Islamic Law and its modesty led to a generation of disharmony in all worlds, with the name of setting the “Islamic State” (ISIS). In fact the Islamic law did not order anyone to seek for constructing the Islamic State. We know that the Islamic State is based on the laws of Allah, as no one has any capacity to do anything without the will of Allah Al-Mighty. The Group of (Muslim Brothers) sent misguided thoughts to the brain of youth, and this led to the tarnishing of the image of Islam, as well as killing the spirit of brotherhood among Muslims until the whole world fights each other.
Islam covers a broad sense of safety from the evils of self and thought and deed.
Allah Almighty provided Saudi Arabia with Unity, peace and moderation, as each citizen has his own rights and obligations. Each Saudi citizen is a solider for protecting his country and community.
