
Arab foreign ministers held a coordination meeting on the sidelines of the 70th UN General Assembly session.
Challenges facing the Arab countries and stances on the most prominent Arab issues and topics on the agenda of the United Nations at its current session were discussed.
The meeting was attended by the Saudi Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir and other senior officials.
The Arab foreign ministers reiterated support for Saudi Arabia and reiterated rejection of any attempt by some regional countries to exploit Mina stampede accident for political purposes.
The foreign ministers also backed the efforts undertaken by Saudi Arabia to help the Yemeni people and to support the legitimacy of President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi to restore security and stability to the country and end the suffering of the Yemeni people.
